“I want to clear my GATE examination. I am a student of Civil Branch and I have been graduated this year. Please guide me how should I start my preparation? Which books should I refer? Should I prefer an online mode or offline mode?"

The GATE aspirants must have these types of questions in their minds these days. Very obviously, the GATE exam 2016 is approaching. It will be going to conduct in January and February months. You can imagine with how much zeal and keenness each student is involved in the preparation.

No, no. I am not among them. I have been graduated in 2012. Actually, I have also got into the preparation phase of GATE in 2012, for GATE 2013. I had joined the coaching institute, Dronacharya. It was good. The professors were quite learned and knowledgeable and I had learnt a lot, many basics, which I hadn’t read in Engineering. Many theoretical and practical concepts, I had acknowledged there. Actually, I had acquired new, unique and memorable experience there.

Joining the coaching institutes is not a bad decision. But, now, you don’t have enough time to join any institute. It’s far better to prepare at your end very, very carefully. GATE preparation phase is the significant factor to crack the GATE. It requires the seamless efforts along with the patience and the most importantly, the athletic health.

Elements in GATE 2016

  1. Top-notch Guidance
  2. Comprehensive Study Material
  3. Acquaintance about the syllabus, question paper pattern and the marking scheme
  4. Previous Year Solved Papers
  5. Sample Papers or Mock Test Paper

Look, guys! Don’t consider the GATE exam as of your college-level exam. It is something par than all other exams. Clearing this exam, you can directly placed to the PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) and many other government and semi-government organizations other than seeking admissions in M. Tech and studying at IITs and NITs. I have consulted Nodia & Company for the study material and trust me, it would be greatly fruitful for me. My branch was Computer Science and I had learnt a lot from the books.

For your convenience, here I am going to discuss about the pattern of question papers and the marking scheme. Have a look…
